Countertops for kitchens and bathrooms

Countertop planning connects a surface choice with the cabinets, sink and room around it. Chelle Renovate & Build offers countertop installation, based in Englewood and serving Charlotte and Sarasota counties. Discuss daily use, appearance and maintenance alongside the measurements and coordination your project needs.

Choose a surface for its use

Think about how you prepare food, use the vanity or gather around an island. Compare available samples for appearance and the care each product requires, including guidance about heat, cleaning and sealing where relevant. Bring preferences and questions rather than relying on a photograph to identify a material or predict its performance.

Resolve edges cutouts and joins

Measurements alone do not settle every countertop detail. Discuss edge profiles, sink cutouts, backsplash connections and the location of any joins. If an appliance or sink is changing, include its specifications in the selection conversation. Confirm the selected layout and details before fabrication or ordering, and ask who coordinates those stages.

Check the supporting parts

Existing cabinets, the sink and adjacent wall finishes affect the installation plan. Identify what will be retained and what is being replaced, then discuss cabinet condition and support with the proposed scope. Confirm removal, installation and any plumbing responsibilities so a countertop change is coordinated with the rest of the room.

Bring your countertop questions

Photograph the full counter area and any awkward corners. Bring the room's approximate dimensions, your town, inspiration and details of retained or proposed sinks and appliances.
